What is Nickellytics?
Nickelytics is a mobile advertising company that pays freelancers to place ads on their cars and drive them normally.
How to use
To sign up, you’ll need to download the Nickelytics app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You’ll also enter how much and where you want to drive, what type of car you own, and other basic information.
The site will then ask you to keep the app running in the background so it can track your movements. This is to make sure you meet the requirements and find out which campaigns are running where you drive.
requirements
However, to be eligible to participate in the campaign, you must:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a clean driving record
- Car year must be within 10 years
- Must drive a minimum of 30 miles/day, 150 miles/week, or 600 miles/month
- Rideshare or delivery driver is preferred but not required.
Nickellytics review
If you win a campaign, the site will provide you with a contract detailing the advertiser’s name, campaign duration and requirements, and payment amount. You have the right to accept or refuse.
Once you accept the campaign, the site will arrange an appointment to wrap your car. The site also expects the Nickelytics app to keep running in the background on your phone so it can track your location data and report it to advertisers.
What happens if you don’t meet the requirements in a particular month? Then your paycheck could be garnished. Carlo Chica, director of operations at Nickelytics, says this rarely happens. In the past three years, less than 1% of drivers’ payments have been withheld due to non-compliance.
pay
According to Nickelytics, the site typically pays between $150 and $175 per month for a partial wrap and $250 per month for a full car wrap. However, some campaigns can pay you up to $500 per month.
Importantly, apart from driving a set number of miles per month within the campaign area (which you probably would have done anyway if you qualify for the campaign), to earn this salary This means that there is no need to do this.
catch?
There aren’t many campaigns, especially if you live and work in a relatively rural area.
Nickelytics’ mileage tracking software also has some technical flaws, with many users complaining that the app simply didn’t track their mileage. The site says it is aware of the software flaw and believes it has been fixed.
Recommendations
There are three reputable companies that offer car advertising campaigns. Also, if you drive a lot, you might want to sign up for all of them to increase your chances of getting a job. Like Nickelytics, other car advertising companies have more potential promoters than advertisers. Consider that if you’re lucky, he might be able to attend a live performance once or twice a year.

Nickelytics User Testimonials (from Apple App Store)
I’ve been using the app for about 6 weeks, and sometimes it would log miles and other times they would just disappear. There’s definitely enough desire to at least hear from someone about a potential contract or something. Just nothing. Surely they are just selling your tracking data. This also consumes a lot of battery power.
In less than a month, I’ve put about 8,000 miles on the car. So Cal is a highly populated area, so I thought they would use me for advertising. no. From the High Desert (Joshua Tree) to the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs) to Orange County (Irvine) to Downtown Los Angeles.
From Google Play
So I have it set all the time and I keep the app open and I drove quite a few miles yesterday and it doesn’t show any of the miles I did yesterday and every time I press refresh it increases but , then when I go back and look at my trip log, it says 0 miles. I’m told the campaign starts on November 6th for 10 months, but I don’t see how I’ll be able to receive a proper payment if the app can’t properly record my miles.I have two phones, one is Android/Uber and the other is iPhone/Lyft and neither works.
app doesn’t track
I have verified that all permissions are enabled and the app still does not track my miles. Since I drive for a living, I should have accumulated some miles, but every day my mileage is showing as 0 miles.
Mile tracking isn’t working. I set location to always on. However, you have to open the app to actually track it. And your miles for the month will be zero every day, so you won’t accumulate anything.
