In Part I, we pitted ChatGPT and Bard against each other in a battle of conceptual explanations, specifically to explain the concept of fractional reserve banking.
In this follow-up, I’d like to see how the two systems differ in order to come up with something creative.
Outline the novel
So I asked them both to give me an outline of the novel. Here are the prompts I gave them:
I want to write a novel about the impending destruction of the earth due to overuse of resources. A world government conspiracy is underway to hide the truth from the majority of the population while preparing spaceships to relocate the only 5% of the population deemed worth saving to another planet. be. Please suggest a story summary including chapter names and a synopsis of each chapter.

Considering the same prompt, I personally like that ChatGPT actually gave the novel a working title. Each chapter is also more detailed and provides more thoughtful plot guidance.
After all, both stories converge around similar themes and endings, and feel more like derivatives of existing stories and films. But based simply on this first prompt, I think the creativity wins with ChatGPT.
